About Timber:
- He is proven!
- He is AKC registered.
- He receives an annual health examination from our veterinarian and has always been found to be in great health.
- He weighs approximately 45 pounds.
- He has an excellent temperament! He does very well with children, other dogs, and strangers.
- He is from a field/hunting bloodline.
About the breeding procedure:
- The cost for breeding is $650.
- The female is boarded in a clean, indoor kennel.
- We require record of a negative brucellosis test within the last 6 months prior to breeding. This is for the safety of our own dogs.
- For the best outcome for puppies, it is best if the female is de-wormed prior to breeding and is up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines. Be sure to schedule any necessary vaccinations a few months prior to breeding, so the vaccinations do not interfere with breeding/pregnancy.
- We only do natural breeding.
- We usually plan for a female to be here from day 8 to approximately day 16, although this will vary depending on the female.
